VBS has always had a tremendously important place in my life.
I always looked forward to that special time in the summer. It was an exciting week at our Church. From the very first VBS at 4 years old, and even now, I look forward to that special summer week. Many, many things were learned during these days, too many to write about.
But I want to share a very important person with you. There was a teenager who vividly stands out in my memories. As a child she had Polio that left her in braces. No matter how long it took her to get down on the ground, or get ready to play other games with us, she never let the braces stop her. Even now, I can remember her smile and laughter as she shared her life with children in our Church. Her serving the Lord, no matter how difficult it was physically, forever made an impact on me. I will always look forward to, and be a worker in VBS. This is one of the most important tools for reaching the lost.
